Volunteer Connections provides opportunities through the Human Services Council. For information on the following, call 360-735-3690.

Clark County Food Bank is seeking volunteer truck drivers and support riders for the Fresh Alliance program, to help pick up food from area grocery stores. Volunteers are also needed to assist with sorting and repackaging food brought in by trucks. Shifts are from 10 a.m. to noon, weekdays.

City of Vancouver Parks and Recreation is hosting the annual Father-Daughter Ball at Pearson Air Museum, and seeks volunteers to help set up from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 1. Volunteers are also needed to assist with a variety of tasks at the ball itself, from noon to 3:30 p.m. and 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 2. Groups welcome. Council for the Homeless Winter Hospitality Overflow locations are looking for volunteers interested in an evening or overnight shift. Volunteers will make guests feel comfortable and welcome at either of the two Vancouver locations, and serve in teams of two.

Fish of Vancouver seeks volunteers to serve as front room monitors, clothing room helpers, janitors, and food sorters. Shifts are available for mornings or afternoons, Monday through Friday.
