Colby Shaw had a career-high 31 points and Hunter Ecklund added 22 as the Wildcats raced to a Trico League win.

“We pushed the pace, gave up a lot points early, but we also scored a lot,” La Center coach Jeremy Ecklund said. “There was a lot of transition basketball, and they had a hard time stopping us from getting to the rim.”

La Center took a 51-34 lead into halftime and extended it from there.

“I don’t think Colby has ever scored more than 20,” Ecklund said. “He was getting lay-in after lay-in.”
