Girls basketball: Ridgefield 49, R.A. Long 44 (OT)

A 3-pointer by Grace Goode and a key 2-pointer by Madalyn Chapman in overtime helped the Spudders sink visiting R.A. Long in 2A Greater St. Helens League play.

Ridgefield (8-4, 2-2) missed a chance at the lead in the final seconds of regulation, but got the big baskets it needed in the overtime.

Allie Andrew had a triple-double for Ridgefield with 19 points, 21 rebounds and 10 blocked shots. Morgan Harter added 10 rebounds and four points.

As a team, the Spudders had 16 steals, 12 blocked shots and 14 assists.
