Girls basketball: La Center 62, Seton Catholic 22

Taylor Stephens poured in a career-high 37 points, including hitting seven of the Wilcats’ 10 3-pointers to open 1A Trico League play with a win.

Stephens, La Center’s starting point guard and Central Washington signee, also had six rebounds, five steals and four blocks as the Wildcats improve to 3-7.

Mia Edwards added 16 points, Kylee Stephens had six points and seven rebounds and Sierra Frasier had five rebounds and three points.

Jasmine Morgan led Seton with 16 points.
