Size and strong outside shooting helped the Australian Travel team prevail over the Eagles.
Despite the defeat, Eagles coach Theo Mikaele said the game was a great learning experience for his team, which resumes 3A GSHL play next week because so many players stepped up in scoring roles.
Skylar Buker led Bay with 14 points, Eli Hoover had 13, and Carter Morse added 11.
Defensively, Bay held the Australia team to just four second-quarter points.
“Even though we didn’t come out with a win,” Mikaele said, “we definitely learned some stuff. It was a good learning game for us.”
