Clark County sheriff’s deputies said Wednesday that they are still searching for a 31-year-old mother and her infant child.

Law enforcement and Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families officials are searching for Dannielle “Danni” Williams and her 1-month-old baby, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office has not offered many details about why detectives are looking for Williams and the child. It noted in a Dec. 18 release that detectives “have received information that the baby may be in need of urgent medical care.”

Williams is known to frequent the Camas-Washougal area, and she may be avoiding contact with Child Protective Services, deputies said Wednesday in a Facebook post.

She was described as a woman with a slight build who frequently dyes her hair bright colors. Photos provided by the sheriff’s office show a woman with red and purple hair, but Williams may have dyed her hair black recently.

Anyone who sees Williams should call 911, the sheriff’s office said. And people with leads about where she could be can contact Detective Craig Marler at 360-397-2108 or craig.marler@clark.wa.gov.
