Clark College sophomore Parker Gaddis certainly embraced Sophomore Night.
He scored a season-high 30 points and had 14 rebounds Thursday in his final home game for the Penguins.
However, it was visiting Chemeketa that came away with the 79-69 NWAC South region victory on Thursday at the O’Connell Center.
Gaddis, who attended Southridge High in Beaverton, Ore., was 10 for 20 shooting from the field and 8 for 8 from the free-throw line.
Freshman Sethon Moore was the only other Penguins player in double figures with 12 points.
Clark (13-13, 5-10 NWAC South) lost its third game in a row and sixth of its last seven games.
WOMEN: CHEMEKETA 62, CLARK 44 — Mahrysa Thomas led the Penguins in scoring with 12 points and a team-high eight rebounds.
Clark (3-12, 5-21) never had a lead in the game.
