Update: Missing woman found safe

She had gone missing around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday

UPDATE: The Clark County Sheriff’s Office reported at about 10:30 p.m. that Jill Doss was found by Deputy Taylor Bossert and Reserve Deputy Mike Wright.  She was healthy and in good spirits and has been reunited with her family.


A woman who is new to the area and has Alzheimer’s disease is missing, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Jill Doss was last seen near Northeast 40th Avenue and Northeast 54th Street around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to a sheriff’s office news release. Doss is described as a white female; 4 feet, 11 inches tall and 150 pounds with short gray hair and a lime green sweater.

Doss speaks with a slight British accent and may talk about her missing dogs, according to the press release.

Anyone with information about Doss’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
