Some parts of Portland could get 2 inches of snow

As if we weren’t already tired of all the snow warnings, another one has been issued for tonight.

The National Weather Service in Portland says up to 2 inches of snow could fall in the Portland area between 10 p.m. tonight and Wednesday morning. That’s the bad news.

The good news is that the pattern is predicted to be the same on Monday, with most of the snow to the western and southern suburbs, and only an inch of snow or less for Clark County.

The bitter east wind that has been blowing all day is forecast to remain strong, with gusts at 25 mph to 35 mph, and up to 45 mph near the Columbia River Gorge.
