The Port of Camas-Washougal is accepting applications for its Performing Arts and Cultural Center Steering Committee, which will help advise the port board on planning for its proposed arts and cultural center on the port waterfront.

Community members have expressed interest in putting some kind of arts and cultural center on the waterfront, prompting the port to put together and open applications for a committee, according to port staff.

The application is available through the port’s website, or at the port’s offices, 24 S. A St., Washougal.

The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. April 1. Applicants can drop off their applications at the port office or email them to yvette@portcw.com.
