Police are searching for a suspect after a drive-thru coffee shop was robbed at gunpoint Sunday in the Cimarron neighborhood.

Vancouver police were called to the Human Bean at 16205 N.E. 23rd St. shortly after 11:30 a.m.

The male driver pointed a semi-automatic handgun at a female employee and demanded money, Vancouver Police Sgt. David Krebs said.

The employee gave the man $200 before he drove away and fled southbound on 162nd Avenue, Krebs said.

The white male is roughly 30 or 40 years old and was wearing black gloves, a blue zip-up hooded sweatshirt, a camouflage hat and face mask, dark jeans and tan boots, Krebs said. The Civic, a stolen car out of Portland, included a Washington license plate number BAM7697, Krebs said.
