Nominees for Week 9 winter sports prep athlete of the week

Voting, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Thursday

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

ALLISON BLAINE, HUDSON’S BAY GIRLS WRESTLING: Blaine captured her second consecutive state title, winning at 135 pounds.

GRACE GORDON, COLUMBIA RIVER GYMNASTICS: Gordon won the vault, bars and all-around with a score of 35.8 at the 3A/2A district meet.

JADEN KIM, CAMAS BOYS SWIMMING: Kim placed third in the 100 butterfly in an All-American Consideration time of 49.59 and helped Camas place in all three relays at the 4A state meet.

KADEN PERRY, BATTLE GROUND BOYS BASKETBALL: Perry averaged 18.5 points a game over four wins over four consecutive days at the 4A bi-district tournament.

DANNY SNEDIKER, UNION BOYS WRESTLING: Snediker won his second consecutive state title, beating Mead’s Cameron Crawford at 152 pounds.
