Boys basketball: Union 84, Mount Rainier 56

The Titans came back strong from their loss to nationally ranked Federal Way to finish third in the 4A bi-district tournament with the win over Mount Rainier at Stadium High School.

Ethan Smith scored a gam-high 31 points with a school-record nine 3-pointers for Union (23-1).

Tanner Toolson added 16 points, Brad Lackey had 11 and Alishawuan Taylor had 10 points. Houston Combs dished out 12 assists to go with five points.
