Kyler Gall scored the final five points — including the go-ahead bucket in the final seconds — to seal Shelton’s win to end Mountain View’s season in the consolation bracket of the 3A bi-district tournament.
Mountain View had a four-point lead at 56-52 before Gall’s back-to-back field goals that gave Shelton a 57-56 lead. Ty Thompson’s free throws made it a two-point lead.
Gall finished with 13 points for Shelton and Thompson led all scorers with 22. Makai Anderson led the Thunder with 15 points and Devin Velott added 11.
