A Caring Closet is looking for volunteers to help fill out paperwork for medical equipment, answer phones, and assist donors dropping off equipment. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Battle Ground Health Care seeks volunteers with medical or dental professional backgrounds, education, and credentials to assist in a free clinic. Volunteer dentists, dental assistants and hygienists, registered nurses, chiropractors, phlebotomists, medical technologists, physician assistants and more are needed. Catholic Charities Volunteer Services needs drivers and volunteers to perform simple household chores for home-bound seniors and the disabled. Flexible shifts available. Contact Carolyn at 360-213-2403.

Columbian Springs seeks volunteers to help survey a 100 acre natural area for four different invasive plants from 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 23 at the Swift Classroom at Columbia Springs. Volunteers will help identify plants, locate survey markers, and collect data. Crew leaders and training for volunteers will be provided.

Hope Dementia Support Groups is looking for volunteers with experience caring for a person with dementia, to facilitate support groups. Facilitators attend bimonthly meetings, attend a two-day training, and are asked to facilitate one group a week.

Vancouver Public Schools seeks lunch buddies to meet one-on-one with children for 45 minutes once a week during the school year. Volunteers have a choice of schools.
