River Wave Foods LLC of Battle Ground has been named a winner in the 2019 Good Food Awards.

Selected from a national pool of more than 2,000 entries, River Wave Foods’ My Thai Vinaigrette was selected as a top scorer for taste in the pantry category. My Thai Vinaigrette also met production and ingredient standards of the competition.

The awards were announced Jan. 11. In addition to flavor and ingredients, entries are vetted for fair trade practices, sustainability, low carbon footprint and local sourcing.

River Wave Foods is a longtime Vancouver Farmers Market participant. The market opens March 16 at Esther Short Park. River Wave Foods products can be found at these Clark County locations: Chuck’s Produce, New Season’s Markets, C’est La Vie French Cafe & Creperie and NW Nut.
