The Master Gardeners Foundation of Clark County recently announced its 2019 grant requests, which total $30,500 and will support local horticultural education activities.

Recipients are the Bethel Community Garden, Clark County Work Program Veterans Garden, Fort Vancouver Historic Site Interpretive Garden, Minnie Stromgren Memorial Gardens, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Garden, NatureScaping of SW Washington, Our Lady of Lourdes Outdoor Learning Center, Heritage Farm Organic Demonstration Field, 4-H Restorative Community Service Food Bank Garden, 4-H Farm to Fork Field Days, Hazel Dell School and Community Garden, River HomeLink Family Gardening Classes, Washougal City Community Garden, the Master Gardener Program Coordinator, and the WSU Clark County Master Gardener Program endowment.

The revenue for these grants is primarily generated from the annual Mother’s Day Weekend Plant Sale at the 78th Street Heritage Farm. For more information about the Master Gardener Foundation, visit www.mgfcc.com.
