LA CENTER — Kindergarten registration at La Center Elementary School will run from April 15 through 26. Children must turn 5 years old on or before Aug. 31 to enter kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year.
Parents can register their kids between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the elementary school office, 700 E. Fourth St., or online at www.LaCenterSchools.org, and are asked to bring their child’s immunization record and a copy of their legal birth certificate if registering in person.
La Center Elementary School will also host Kindy Cub Nights from 5 to 6 p.m. on March 14, April 11 and May 9 at the elementary school cafeteria. Incoming students and parents will work on activities to prepare students for school. Families need to only attend one night.
