PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center will be the title sponsor of this year’s AppleTree Marathon, Vancouver’s WHY Racing says.
PeaceHealth will host the Health and Wellness lounge at the finish line, provide health and nutrition information, and offer gift bags for athletes. It will also provide volunteers at designated water stations along the route.
The AppleTree Marathon Festival offers three running events, starting with the Sunset 5K run at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14. The full marathon starts at 7 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, and the half marathon starts an hour later.
The AppleTree Marathon event benefits the Police Activities League of Vancouver.
