Boys basketball: King’s Way Christian 70, Hoquiam 36

Brady Metz scored 18 points and Gage Koenders had 12 as King’s Way rolled to the first-round win at the 1A district tournament.

The Knights (14-7) had 10 steals and made 15 of 17 free throws.

They advance to play either Stevenson or Forks in the semifinals for a berth to the 1A regional round of state.
