The Clark County Sheriff’s Office will host a free, hourlong hiring workshop at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Public Safety Complex, 505 N.W. 179th St., Ridgefield.

Deputies, human resources staff and the chief civil service examiner will discuss the application process and answer questions.

The sheriff’s office hired 46 new employees in 2018, according to a sheriff’s office news release. Testing for corrections and enforcement deputy positions will be held Feb. 24 in Vancouver, and registration is open at publicsafetytesting.com.
