WOODLAND — The rest of the Lakeside Motel will be demolished at 10 a.m. Saturday to clear way for the Woodland YMCA.
Thomas Buck Construction will do most of the work, but donors will be allowed to drive a bulldozer to knock down some walls. Some spots are still available for donors ages 21 and older. For more information, contact Benno Dobbe at benno@haflowers.com.
Demolition of the motel on the 2.8-acre site started in May. The fundraising campaign for the Woodland YMCA project continues with the goal of raising enough money to break ground later this year and start construction in 2020.
