One person was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence following a Super Bowl Sunday patrol emphasis conducted by the Vancouver and Battle Ground police departments and Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Law enforcement officers contacted 71 people during the DUI patrol emphasis and issued 37 citations or infractions, gave 44 warnings and made six other arrests, according to a press release issued Monday by the Vancouver Police Department.

The extra patrols were funded by a grant from the Washington Traffic Safety Commission, the press release states.
