WASHOUGAL — Clark County-based iQ Credit Union held a workshop for students in the Club 8 after-school program at Jemtegaard Middle School. They learned some financial basics, including concepts like supply and demand, fixed assets and interest on loans, as well as created budgets and learned how to write checks. They spun a “Wheel of Fate” which showed them that life can have unexpected costs and gains, and were challenged to purchase necessary items with a limited budget.
