Rotary donates books to adopted school

Bagley Downs — Vancouver Sunrise Rotary Club adopted Roosevelt Elementary School once again this year. At the beginning of the school year, the Rotary donated 60 pairs of shoes and 70 coats to the school’s resource center. On Dec. 21, the last day of school before winter break, the club brought in books for students, ensuring that every child took home a book of their very own to keep. Plans for the remainder of the year include providing additional school supplies and sponsoring an all-school assembly.
