Ridgefield — Sunset Ridge Intermediate School fifth-graders made scarves for residents of the Ridgefield Living Center and wrapped them during a project on community service. The students in Jericho Kaylor’s, Erik Mendenhall’s and Amanda Burgess’ classes also received a visit from Mayor Don Stose, who talked to them about the importance of community service. The students measured and cut each of the scarves by hand using materials donated by EKM Property Management. They also included a pair of gloves in each package.
