BATTLE GROUND — Google has taken notice of Battle Ground Public Schools’ use of technology in the classroom. The district is the fourth school in the region to earn the Google for Education Reference District distinction. Schools that have demonstrated “excellence and leadership through the innovative use of technology to drive impact and positive learning outcomes” are targeted by Google for the distinction. It means that Battle Ground will become a resource for other schools and their technology needs. The school district is rolling out a program that gives every Battle Ground student in grades 3-12 a Google Chromebook laptop.
