Vancouver firefighters responded to the scene of a rollover crash Friday afternoon on the Northeast 112th Avenue onramp to westbound state Highway 500.

Emergency personnel were dispatched about 2:30 p.m. The first engine to arrive radioed that there was a large pickup on its top with the driver trapped inside, according to a press release from the Vancouver Fire Department.

Additional units arrived and extricated the man from the pickup. He was transported by AMR to an area hospital for evaluation; his condition was unavailable, the press release states.

Police blocked the onramp while emergency responders worked to clear the scene, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

A total of four units were dispatched to the scene. Washington State Patrol is investigating the crash.
