The Spudders earned third place in their division at the Surf N’ Slam tournament in San Diego behind senior Josh Mansur’s 33 points.

He was able to get to the basket and get some penetration with guys around him, and made some tough shots,” head coach Jason Buffum said.

Mansur’s 33 points is a season high. Twenty-four came in the first half when Ridgefield built a 39-30 lead.

James Corey added 18 and Stefan Vossenkuhl had 17.
