Girls basketball: Heritage 47, Marshfield (Ore.) 26

Alex Rosenbaum scored 13 points to support a dogged defensive effort by the Timberwolves at the Dulcich Holiday Tournament in Astoria, Ore.

Heritage (4-5) led 12-2 after the first quarter and 21-5 at halftime.

“It was fun to be able to mix it up and give them different looks using our length,” said Heritage coach Jacob Kaler.

Katie Peneueta had 10 points and nine rebounds for Heritage, which faces Centennial (Ore.) in the semifinals on Friday.
