The Clark County Planning Commission is accepting applications to fill a vacancy.

The six-year, unexpired term on the seven-member commission would begin immediately and last through 2025, according to a Clark County news release. The commission makes recommendations to the Clark County Council on land-use planning, zoning and development in areas outside cities. It also touches on issues such as growth management, roads, public facilities, development regulations and county ordinances.

Letters of interest and resumes can be sent to Michelle Pfenning, Clark County Council, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver or emailed to michelle.pfenning@clark.wa.gov. The application deadline is 5 p.m. Jan. 3.
