Darrin Montalvo was hired the executive vice president, chief financial and growth officer at PeaceHealth, where he will “lead PeaceHealth’s long-term financial and growth strategies in support of patients, their families and community members,” according to a news release. Most recently Montalvo was employed as executive vice president and chief operating officer for Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System in Baton Rouge, La.; and earlier as president of enterprise services at Providence St. Joseph Health in Renton; and in various leadership roles at St. Joseph Health in Irvine, Calif. Montalvo received a master’s degree from University of Southern California, as well as a bachelor’s degree in economics/business from UCLA. Montalvo will be based at PeaceHealth’s system office in Vancouver, starting Jan. 20.
Ed Boston was hired as the alumni director at Clark College Foundation. He recently held a similar role at Fort Valley State University in Georgia, his alma mater. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history and political science, and a master’s degree in guidance and counseling. He will start at the foundation, an independent nonprofit that assists Clark College through philanthropy, on Jan 13.
