Alex Miller scored a career-high 34 points as Columbia River won the non-league game over visiting Mountain View.
“He’s been playing well all year, having a great senior season,” River coach David Long said. “Tonight, he didn’t miss for a while. Kids were even passing up shots to keep feeding him the ball.”
Miller had 24 points in the first half and was taken out of the game early in the fourth quarter. He also had seven rebounds and four assists.
“It was really fun to watch,” Long said. “He was really taking quality shots.”
Michael Foust and Dylan Valdez each added 14 points for Columbia River (3-2) and Nate Snook had 11.
