Vancouver’s Salary Review Commission seeks members

Vancouver is seeking applicants to fill two new positions on the city’s Salary Review Commission, which recently expanded from five members to seven with a voter-approved revision of the city charter.

The commission meets every other year to review and recommend adjustments to the salaries of the city council, mayor and mayor pro tem. The next session is scheduled for March to June 2020.

To qualify, applicants must live within city limits and be registered voters. City employees and their immediate family members are ineligible. Each commissioner serves a single four-year term.

Applicants must be available for an interview with Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle on Feb. 12. To apply, visit cityofvancouver.us/boards.
