Vancouver police say a missing 4-year-old girl and two other girls who were believed to be with her were located in Montana.

The Vancouver Police Department sent out an alert about Arianna “Faith” Vaughn on Monday. Faith was thought to be with her mother, 33-year-old Anna Harrington.

Harrington, who does not have legal custody of Faith, was allowed visitation beginning Dec. 10 but did not return her as planned by Saturday, police said. Two of Harrington’s daughters from another relationship, ages 7 and 13, were likely with Faith.

The police department said in a news release Tuesday morning that tips from the public led to Harrington’s arrest and recovery of the three children in Montana.

“Children’s Services in Montana is working with the custodial parents on the safe return of the children,” the new release said.

Harrington was arrested on suspicion of first-degree custodial interference.
