Boys basketball: Heritage 64, Mountain View 63

Connor Childs scored 23 points and Marcos Diaz hit five 3-pointers as the Timberwolves held on to beat the Thunder.

Eastyn Culp hit three of Heritage’s five 3-pointers in the third quarter as the Timberwolves forged a 52-43 lead.

Heritage held on in the fourth, despite shooting just 2-for-13 from the free-throw line.

Austin Lee led Thunder’s rally by scoring 18 of his 22 points in the second half, including all four of his 3-pointers.
