Washougal — The annual Cape Horn-Skye Elementary Grandparent Day was held in November, featuring a special turkey lunch, book fair, photo booth and a craft table to create a picture frame.
The event has grown to two days to accommodate the large turnout and help families with kids in multiple grades.
“Grandparent Day is one of my favorite days here,” Principal Penny Andrews said in a news release. “It’s a great opportunity for grandparents and other special adults to connect with the children and peek into their school life.”
