Eight Boy Scouts from Washougal’s Troop 497 have achieved Eagle Scout rank since 2017.

August 2019

William Weihl, a Washougal High School senior, engraved a sign at Sunnyside Memorial Cemetery, Washougal. Weihl, 18, is the son of Kelly-Marie Sutton.

January 2019

Nolan Purkerson, a Washougal High School senior, 18, designed and built a kiosk and completed landscaping at the Washougal Hatchery. Purkerson is the son of Susan and Dave Purkerson.

December 2018

Henry Jones, a Washougal High School sophomore, designed and constructed a cremation garden at Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Jones, 15, is the son of Rebecca and Dane Jones.

Spencer Perkins, a Washougal High School senior, designed and built a lending library and updated brick pavers below the flag pole at Hathaway Park, Washougal. Perkins, 17, is the son of Sarah and Blake Perkins.

October 2018

Braden Harness, a Washougal High School graduate who is attending Clark College, designed and built an American flag disposal box at Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Harness, 19, is the son of Michele and Shane Harness.

August 2017

Dallin Kanzler, a Washougal High School senior, installed new soccer benches at a soccer field in Washougal. Kanzler, 17, is the son of Megan and Ryan Kanzler.

May 2017

Thomas Liston, a Washougal High School senior, installed bike park challenges at Hamllik Park. Liston, 17, is the son of Megan and Travis Liston.

April 2017
