Hunter Ecklund scored 24 points, and Evan Norris and Cedric Hubler added 15 each as the Wildcats erased an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter.
Ridgefield led 50-39 after three quarters.
“And just like that, it was a two-point game,” Ridgefield coach Jason Buffum said. “Like maybe two minutes into the fourth quarter. From there, it was a back-and-forth game. And then we just ran out gas and couldn’t finish it.”
Stefan Vossenkuhl led the Spudders with 27 points.
“This was the first really good team we’ve faced,” Buffum said. “Hopefully, this is a wakeup call. When you’re not used to winning, you have to learn to get over that hump and finish out the game.”
