Playing full strength for the first time this season, championship flavor was on the floor for Camas in its 52-46 nonleague home victory Friday night over Washougal.

Five Papermakers from last week’s state championship football team — Charlie Bump, Blake Asciutto, Kenny Wright, Titan Phillips, and Jackson Clemmer — made their hardwood debut.

Head coach Ryan Josephson said it made a big difference — “a big spark,” he said — from Bump running the point guard to Clemmer down low defensively.

“They made a real difference in the game,” Josephson said.

Christian Lenard paced Camas with 16 points.

Gabe Kent and Yanni Fassilis each had 14 to lead Washougal.
