Girls basketball: Washougal 60, Skyview 52

The Panthers made 23 of their 36 free throws and outscored the Storm 22-8 in the final quarter to earn the non-league road win.

Skylar Bea scored 16 points, Jaiden Bea added 14, Savea Mansfield chipped in 13 and McKinley Stotts finished with 11 for the Panthers.

Skyview’s Emily Norton scored 16 points and Skyview’s Kazz Parks tallied 14 before fouling out in the fourth quarter.

“Kazz fouled out in the fourth quarter and they just took over,” Storm coach Brett Johnson said. “Somebody else has got to step up.”

The game featured a combined 61 free-throw attempts.
