Girls basketball: Hockinson 51, Heritage 42

Defense paved the way for the Hawks, as head coach Damon Roche commended the guard play.

Forward Lillie Mueller posted a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds, Gracie Brammer added 16 points, and Kylie Ritter had 12 points.

Ritter and Brammer combined for eight steals, and Brammer added four assists.

Keanna Salavea led the Timberwolves with 14 points and Katie Peneueta added 12.
