Boys basketball: Hudson’s Bay 54, Seton Catholic 53

Hudson’s Bay overcame a 12-point third-quarter deficit to earn a 54-53 non-league road win over Seton Catholic (0-1) on Thursday.

Seton Catholic’s Eba Abu tied the game at 53-53 with 6 seconds left on a running layup. Hudson’s Bay (1-1) called timeout on the ensuing possession with 3 seconds remaining.

The Eagles inbounded the ball to Isaiah David, who was promptly fouled. He made 1 of 2 at the free-throw line to win the game.
