Waste Connections, DOGPAW team up to clear dog park

West Minnehaha — A team of DOGPAW volunteers spent a recent day cleaning the dog park at Ike Memorial Park thanks in part to some supplies donated by Waste Connections. Low-hanging limbs, deadfalls and other loose brush had been accumulating for more than a year at the dog park. Waste Connections supplied a large debris box and agreed to haul it off for disposal once it was filled. “We had way more than we could handle at Ike,” Eileen Cervantes, DOGPAW board president, said in a release from the organization.
