ORLANDO, Fla. — The final 2019 Halloween Horror Nights house has been announced.
Rob Zombie not only inspired a scare zone (Rob Zombie Hellbilly Deluxe) at this year’s event at Universal Orlando Resort, but he’ll also be represented in a maze based on “House of 1000 Corpses.”
Guests will explore Captain Spaulding’s Museum of Monsters and Madmen — a tourist attraction from the film that features infamous serial killers — before coming face-to-face with a group of murderers: the Firefly family.
Universal previously announced four original content houses for HHN 2019 including Graveyard Games, Depths of Fear, Yeti: Terror of the Yukon and Nightingales: Blood Pit as well as houses based on “Ghostbusters,” “Us,” “Killer Klowns From Outer Space,” “Stranger Things” and Universal’s classic monsters, such as Dracula and the Wolfman.
Other scare zones at the event include “Zombieland: Double Tap,” Anarch-cade, Vikings Undead and Vanity Ball. In addition to the scare zones, guests can also check out Halloween Horror Nights’ live entertainment, which includes a new Academy of Villains: Altered States show at the Fear Factor Live venue as well as a new show that will debut this year (details to come).
Halloween Horror Nights is an after-hours, extra-ticket event at the Universal Studios theme park. It runs for 41 select nights between Sept. 6 and Nov. 2.
