Contractors association foundation awards $13,000 in scholarships to 14 students

Hazel Dell — The Southwest Washington Contractors Association (SWCA) Foundation awarded $13,000 worth of scholarships to 14 local students. The foundation is a nonprofit that aims to enhance Southwest Washington through grants for education and community outreach projects. Funding comes from donations from association members and the community. The scholarship recipients were: William Trevena from University of San Diego, Katelynne Cox from Oregon State University, DeLano Morgan from Regis University, Emma Cox from Towson University, Erika Lake from Seattle University, Samuel Walker from Occidental College, Joel Tanig from Washington State University Vancouver, Brieanna Jeibmann from Oregon State University, Madison Peffers from Whitworth University, Rileigh Grady from Oregon State University, Owen Clayton from Linfield College, Emma Raz from Oregon State University, Abagale Morgan from Western Washington University and Rachel Werbowski from Oregon State University.
