Vancouver-based home fitness equipment company Nautilus announced Tuesday that it is introducing a new adjustable kettlebell under the company’s Bowflex SelectTech line of strength training products.

The SelectTech 840 kettlebell is designed to allow users to add or remove incremental weights in order to adjust between six different weight settings ranging from 8 to 40 pounds. Nautilus is marketing the $149 product as a convenient and compact option for consumers who don’t want to buy multiple weights.

“As with our other SelectTech products, our new 840 kettlebell is perfect for all fitness levels because it adjusts with you as you get stronger, eliminating the need to purchase and store multiple weights,” Chris Quatrochi, Nautilus’ senior vice president of innovation, said in a press release.

The company has added 24 trainer videos to its YouTube channel to teach customers about kettlebell workouts.

The news comes a couple of weeks after Nautilus reported its second-quarter earnings results, which showed a year-over-year decrease in sales — but company officials said they expected to see improvements in future quarters, due in part to the planned launch of a series of new products in the second half of 2019.
