VANCOUVER — Barrett Business Services Inc. (BBSI) on Tuesday reported second-quarter net income of $13.9 million.
On a per-share basis, the Vancouver-based company said it had net income of $1.81.
The human resources management company posted revenue of $231 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $1.46 billion.
Barrett expects full-year earnings to be $5.40 per share.
Barrett shares have increased 49 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $85.04, a decline of 9 percent in the last 12 months.
