Raptors Recap: Ridgefield 9, Walla Walla 8

Michael Yourg singled home Grayson Sterling in the top of the ninth inning to lead the Raptors to a key victory. Sterling led off the ninth with a walk and advanced to second on a deep fly to center. Yourg singled him home for the winning run.

KEY MOMENTS: Michael Hicks drove in two runs on a single, with a third scoring on an error as the Raptors scored six runs in the fourth to take an 8-4 lead. The Sweets tied the game with two in the fourth, and two more in the fifth.

KEY PLAYERS: Jack Bauer was 2 for 5 with runs and three RBI. Willie Cano was 3 for 5. Hicks was 2 for 5 with two RBI. Cameron Repetti struck out two in the ninth to record the save.

NEXT GAME: Ridgefield (9-10 second half, 22-24 overall) at Walla Walla (8-11, 26-20), 6:05 p.m. Sunday. (Radio: FM 99.9)
