PORTLAND — Portland General Electric Co. on Friday reported second-quarter earnings of $25 million.
The Portland-based company said it had a profit of 28 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 51 cents per share.
The electric utility posted revenue of $460 million in the period.
PGE expects full-year earnings to be $2.35 to $2.50 per share.
PGE shares have increased 21 percent since the beginning of the year.
